Winter Springs residents can meet local officers, see specialty vehicles and ask about safety programs when the Police Department holds National Night Out and an open house Tuesday, Oct. 6.

The three-hour event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at police headquarters, 300 N. Moss Road, according to the city's calendar. The location gives residents a chance to visit the department in a community setting rather than during an emergency.

The city describes the evening as an opportunity to build relationships and share public-safety information. Its 2026 events guide lists specialty vehicles and meetings with local officers among the attractions.

For anyone who cannot make the open house, another conversation with police is on the October calendar. Coffee with a Cop is scheduled for 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at CAO Bakery, 855 E. State Road 434, Suite 1117.

The city cautions that community-event details can change. Residents should consult the official listings before attending.
