Winter Springs, Florida — Gas prices in the Orlando area averaged $3.9850 per gallon for regular unleaded on October 5, 2026, according to AAA, down from $4.0096 yesterday. That is down from $4.3420 a week ago and higher than $3.8807 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $4.0603, while the national average is $4.3653. Drivers in the Orlando area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Orlando average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8901. Regular prices are about 10 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.0485, drivers are paying about 94 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Orlando area averages $5.7406 per gallon, AAA reported.
