Winter Springs, Florida — Gas prices in the Orlando area averaged $4.0903 per gallon for regular unleaded on October 2, 2026, according to AAA, down from $4.1492 yesterday. That is down from $4.4613 a week ago and higher than $3.9849 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $4.1488, while the national average is $4.3961. Drivers in the Orlando area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Orlando average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8901. Regular prices are about 11 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.1382, drivers are paying about 95 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Orlando area averages $5.8173 per gallon, AAA reported.
