Winter Springs, Florida — Gas prices in the Orlando area averaged $4.1492 per gallon for regular unleaded on October 1, 2026, according to AAA, down from $4.2235 yesterday. That is down from $4.4238 a week ago and higher than $3.9523 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $4.1957, while the national average is $4.4137. Drivers in the Orlando area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Orlando average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8901. Regular prices are about 20 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.1597, drivers are paying about 99 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Orlando area averages $5.8567 per gallon, AAA reported.
