Winter Springs, Florida — Gas prices in the Orlando area averaged $4.3420 per gallon for regular unleaded on September 28, 2026, according to AAA, down from $4.3789 yesterday. That is up from $4.2620 a week ago but higher than $3.9475 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $4.3440, while the national average is $4.4768. Drivers in the Orlando area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Orlando average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8901. Regular prices are about 39 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.9170, drivers are paying about 142 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Orlando area averages $5.9869 per gallon, AAA reported.
