Keith Cooper Jr. is back with Miami. The Dolphins announced on Sept. 30 that the defensive lineman had been signed to their practice squad.
Cooper already knows the team: his first Miami stint began Jan. 9, and he stayed through the offseason, training camp and the season’s opening three weeks.
The 23-year-old has one tackle across four NFL appearances for Cleveland and Miami. Detroit brought him into the league as an undrafted rookie in 2025; he later spent time on the Browns’ practice squad.
Before turning pro, Cooper played three seasons at Tulane, then transferred to Houston for 2024. His Houston season included 12 starts and 3.5 sacks.
