Darion Newton, a three-star defensive lineman in the 2028 recruiting class, plans to visit Florida State for its home game against Virginia this Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium, Yahoo Sports reported.
Newton is from Locust Grove, Georgia. Rivals industry rankings place him No. 910 nationally, No. 100 among defensive linemen and No. 95 in Georgia.
The 6-foot-2, 270-pound recruit has received 10 offers. Illinois, Wake Forest and West Virginia are among the programs identified as notable options.
It is not yet clear whether the visit will result in an offer from Florida State.
