UCF falls 42–28 at Oklahoma State after a tied first half

The Cowboys pulled away after halftime, leaving UCF with a bye before its Oct. 24 Homecoming game against BYU.

UCF went into halftime tied with No. 18 Oklahoma State but could not keep pace after the break, losing 42–28 in Stillwater on Saturday, Oct. 10.

The Knights scored on their first two possessions and tied the game at 21 shortly before halftime. Oklahoma State moved ahead 27–21 with two field goals.

Early in the fourth quarter, a backward pass ruled a fumble turned into an Oklahoma State touchdown. The Cowboys added a two-point conversion for a 35–21 lead, according to UCF’s official recap.

Oklahoma State scored again before a late UCF touchdown completed the scoring.

The Knights have a bye before hosting BYU for Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Acrisure Bounce House.
