A breakfast restaurant is preparing to open in the building that housed Dominick's on Winter Springs Boulevard for more than three decades.
The Neighborhood Kitchen, at 1301 Winter Springs Blvd., describes itself on its website as "breakfast & more" and says it is now hiring its opening team. It has not announced an opening date. Its site tells visitors to "be first to know when we open."
The company behind it, The Neighborhood Kitchen LLC, was registered with the state in July, Hoodline reported. The space includes about 2,600 square feet inside and an 1,800-square-foot screened patio.
The former Dominick's
Dominick's operated at the site from 1990 until it closed in October 2024. Owner Dominic Commesso cited family health concerns and staffing shortages at the time, according to Hoodline. Marie's Ristorante occupied the space briefly afterward.
