Seminole County voters can start casting ballots in person Monday, Oct. 19, for the Nov. 3 general election. Early voting runs every day through Sunday, Nov. 1, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to the Supervisor of Elections office.
Any registered voter in the county may use any of the early voting sites; it does not matter which precinct you live in.
Where to vote early
The elections office lists seven locations. None is within Winter Springs. Two are in neighboring Oviedo and one is in Casselberry:
- Supervisor of Elections office, 1500 E. Airport Blvd., Sanford
- North Branch Library, 150 N. Palmetto Ave., Sanford
- West Branch Library, 245 N. Hunt Club Blvd., Longwood
- Jean Rhein Central Branch Library, 215 Oxford Road, Casselberry
- Northwest Branch Library, 580 Green Way Blvd., Lake Mary
- Oviedo Aquatic Center, 148 Oviedo Blvd., Oviedo
- East Branch Library, 310 N. Division St., Oviedo
What to bring
Florida requires both photo and signature identification at check-in. One card that carries both is enough, or two separate IDs that together cover both, the office says. A voter without them is given a provisional ballot.
If a provisional ballot envelope is unsigned or the signature does not match the one on file, the voter has until 5 p.m. on the second day after the election to file a cure form.
Mail ballots
Thursday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m. is the deadline to ask the office to mail you a ballot. Requests can be made online or by calling 407-585-8683.
Completed mail ballots must be in the elections office's hands by 7 p.m. on Election Day; a postmark does not count. The office says one Forever stamp covers the return envelope this year. Voters can also hand-deliver a ballot to the Sanford office during business hours or drop it in a secure ballot intake station at any early voting site while the site is open.
