Bear Creek Trail remains closed following recent rain and higher-than-normal water levels, according to Winter Springs’ active Alert Center.
The city posted the closure notice Oct. 8, and it was still listed as active Sunday, Oct. 11. The notice says the trail is closed until further notice and does not give a reopening date.
The city lists Bear Creek Nature Trail at 1555 Winter Springs Blvd. Anyone planning a visit should check the city’s Alert Center for updates before heading there.
